Sweet Potato Dip

Two weeks ago, I felt like making up a sweet plant based dip. Luckily enough, I found steamed sweet potatoes in the kitchen. After a bit of testing, I was done. It’s super easy and, well, sweet!

Ingredients (serves 2-3)

2 steamed sweet potatoes
7 small yellow peppers
5 tbsp olive oil

Instructions

  1. Steam the sweet potatoes, if you haven’t done so.
  2. Place the sweet potatoes in the food processor. Blend them well.
  3. Make sure you remove the seeds. Then add in the peppers. Blend.
  4. Add in the olive oil. Blend until smooth.
  5. Chop whatever vegetables you want to dip with. I recommend celery. Enjoy!

Health Inspiration: Documentaries

A few years back I started taking small steps towards eating healthier. Some included cutting soft drinks, fast food, avoiding wheat products and having more veggies. Still, I felt like that wasn’t enough. So last year, I made it a goal/decision to learn how to eat healthy and I have finally arrived to a point where I’m happy with what I’ve learnt. So I thought it would be nice to share some of my inspiration with you.

Healthy delicious recipes

I believe that learning how to eat healthy is an essential part of self growth. If one intends to grow and achieve, well, they must learn to consume the right fuel. My learning journey took a while (I might write about it later), but I’m finally satisfied with where I am today. Please keep in mind, I am no professional in this field.

Now a top key to eating healthy is cooking and preparing meals and that’s something I’ve been practicing recently. I’ve tried many recipes so far and have collected the ones I’ve really liked. Then I thought, why not post a list. So these recipes are: gluten free, sugar free and mostly plant based. Oh, and CLICK for the recipe!
